CLIMATE CHANGE - world on the verge of extinction?

We are in 21st century, where technology adoptions is at its peak , life of people have become much more simple and the things which we need are easily accessible . But we are continuously hurting our environment for the sake of getting more comfort , due to which the term "CLIMATE CHANGE" is very prevalent  among the people these days. So, what basically is "CLIMATE CHANGE"?.
In simple terms, Climate change is a condition when there is a difference from usual weather pattern of an area .
There are various examples which we can give of climate change starting from the Kerala flood, forest fire of California , unusual occurrence of monsoon of India and the heatwave prevalent in Europe countries , all are a small example of Climate change .
Basically, in Climate change apart from unusualness of weather pattern, the natural disasters are occurring frequently with a  more disastrous affects , this has led to various problems for the world .

Countries have been doing meetings to come to a common consensus on the environmental issues , like the Earth summit of 1992 held at Rio den janerio (Brazil) , the Kyoto protocol held at Kyoto (Japan) and the most recent Paris conference of parties (COP)-21 summit of 2015 held at Paris (France), but all of these summits have a very feeble effect on decreasing the degradation of environment of our Mother Earth . Every time diplomacy comes into play due to which the proposed agreement have to bear the consequences. we know that every country in COP-21 vowed for contribution towards climate by accepting the NDCs (nationally determined contribution) but those will have a very feeble or negligible effect on the upcoming mammoth of climate change. Our goal is to keep the earth's average temperature not to increase beyond 1.5°c , but various reports shows that with the current NDCs of COP-21 , we will easily surpass 3°c . This shows that our efforts are very less compared to what is needed and we are slowly and gradually heading towards a big disaster . And recently , we saw 24th round of conference of parties (COP) at Katowice (Poland) , and we saw country like USA  pulling out from it , following which countries like Australia , Brazil etc. are also neglecting the agreement . The main hindering  for USA is the contribution it is giving towards the climate change purpose and the consequences of all the diplomacy going on here will be bear by all of us which we need to understand unless we will end up devastating the nature , the ecology which has been provided to us .

We have talked about the consequences of Climate change , but what we can do at our level to debilitate the effects of Climate change ?

Basically , climate change is a a product of pollution, global warming etc . and for reducing the effects of climate change we have to go green in every of our activity , starting from eating green and organic food , to using green fuel and leaving the more carbon producing fuels . Also afforestation blended with a change in our behavior by adopting the 3R principle of (reduce , reuse and recycle) . Start adopting public transport , use car pooling , going towards e-vehicles , these are some of the ways in which we can reduce or mitigate the harmful effects of Climate change .

All these measures will do nothing if at our citizen's level we will not get more aware about the upcoming disaster , and this will be so catastrophic  that no one will be able stop this . we have to leave aside our diplomacy and our selfish goals and come together at a common platform to support the cause of curbing the Climate change.

Now this all depends on us , either we understand these early warnings and let them guide us to a more judicious path or let continue to the same way and bear the consequences. Now it is all up to this community to save our Mother Earth and pass it on safely to our future generation. And continuing to the same path will surely lead us to a catastrophe .
